15% of sales and all musician tips will be donated toRelay For Life, a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 5 000 Relay For Life events take place in over twenty countries. Events are held in local communities, campus universities and in virtual worlds. As the American Cancer Society’s most successful fundraiser and the organization’s signature event, the mission of Relay For Life is to raise funds to improve cancer survival, decrease the incidence of cancer, and improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their caretakers.
Wayne Hoffman is a singer/songwriter residing in Amboy, WA. He has hosted open mics in many locations in Clark County for over 20 years. His music includes Folk, Bluegrass, Americana, soft rock and pop. He has performed solo, with a duo and with a band. He was the co-founder of the Clark County Benign Band that raised money for the Relay for Life for over 12 years. He was the founder of the Clark County Folk Festival. He currently hosts the First Friday open mic in Amboy, which is in it’s 16th year. He has performed at several wineries, bars and farmers markets in Clark County and plays at the Chelatchie Prairie Store on the last Friday of each month. MUSIC BEGINS AT 6PM
