Say Ciao! offers lunch and dinner throughout different times of the week as well as live music and events! Lunch offerings include amazing sandwiches, quesadillas, hand formed burgers, hand cut french fries, salads, Chef Peter’s unique soups, chili con carne with roasted green chilies and side items including, garden salads, kettle chips and our in-house baked sweets. The dinner menu features an array of unique small plates, carnitas, burgers, soups and salads. 13 taps of local beers and ciders and an amazing wine list complement our menus. Welcome to Say Ciao! Creative Catering from Chef Peter and his staff. 26 years of catering has taught Chef Peter many lessons; lessons well learned to make what he and his team do to be outstanding and unique, innovative and always fresh, simple and created from scratch with passion and lots of love.
For the past 26 years, Say Ciao! has been known under a few other names. First as Applewood Catering; born in 1990 in Hood River Oregon. Then, in 2002, as Applewood Northwest Cuisine and Catering, with a restaurant and catering. In 2010, as Applewood Restaurant and Bar – a full-service restaurant and bar with catering on the side. And lastly, in 2013, back to Applewood Catering for a brief stint as again, a catering only company.
Hello, 2014!Say Ciao! Creative Catering is born. A new name, a new bigger and better kitchen and a new location with a great deli, open Monday – Friday, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and an amazing dining room for private events including wine tasting, wine dinners, appetizer party’s and cooking demos.
